Hon. Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi dedicates IIT-Hyderabad Campus to the nation.

On February 20th, Hon. Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi inaugurated the IIT-Hyderabad project via virtual means and ceremoniously dedicated it to the nation. This momentous occasion marks a significant milestone not only for the esteemed institution but also for the entire nation, symbolizing progress, innovation, and the relentless pursuit of excellence in education and technology.

Our team at CCBA Designs is particularly elated to have contributed our expertise and creativity to this prestigious project. From the initial conceptualization to the meticulous planning and execution, we have been deeply involved in shaping the architectural and design aspects of the IIT-Hyderabad project. Our commitment to delivering outstanding results aligned perfectly with the vision of creating a world-class facility that fosters learning, research, and collaboration.

Collaborating with esteemed partners and stakeholders, we have strived to design spaces that inspire creativity, facilitate knowledge exchange, and promote a conducive environment for academic growth and innovation. Every aspect of our design reflects our dedication to excellence and our passion for creating spaces that leave a lasting impact.

Long associated with the designing of the campus since 2007, our scope of work included:

  • Faculty Housing

  • Staff Housing

  • Lecture Hall Complex

  • Department of Mathematics

  • Department of Physics

  • Department of Liberal Arts

  • Department of Computer Science

  • Department of Electrical and Electronics

  • Students Commons

The event was attended by Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan and other dignitaries at the campus in Sangareddy. “IIT Hyderabad is known for its excellence in technology and innovation with eighth rank in Engineering and third rank in innovation by NIRF 2023. I have been witnessing the campus’ progress since my inception as the Governor. The development of low-cost ventilators by IITH’s innovators was once a personal memory. Education being student-centric now, I am sure many such novel initiatives will be making a mark in the journey of Viksit Bharat,” she said.

Prof B S Murty, director of IITH, said, “The dedication of the campus to the nation is a proud moment for the entire IITH community. It reflects our vision of creating an environment that fosters interdisciplinary research, sustainability, and academic brilliance.”

As we witness the culmination of our collective efforts with the virtual inauguration by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, we feel a sense of pride and accomplishment. The IIT-Hyd project stands as a testament to the power of collaboration, vision, and unwavering dedication to excellence. We are truly honored to have played a role in this remarkable journey and look forward to seeing the positive impact it will have on generations to come.
