The prestigious Christopher Benninger Gold Medal Award for Excellence in Architectural Thesis was recently presented at the National Final Jury of the Council of Architecture (COA) Awards 2024 on January 22, 2025, held at the Dayananda Sagar College of Architecture in Bengaluru.

The award recognized four outstanding winners across two categories:
1. Projects addressing social concerns
2. Architectural Projects.
Each winner was presented with a cash prize of ₹50,000 in recognition of their exceptional work. Winners of the Christopher Benninger Gold Medal Award for 2024:

Maria Joy
Sanath Kumar Shivuni
Ayush Pathrabe

Mr. Ramprasad Akkisetti, Managing Director of CCBA Designs, and Ar. Daraius Choksi, Studio Director at CCBA Designs, who presented the awards to the winners. The event was also honored by the presence of Ar. Raj Rewal, the master architect known for his significant contributions to modern architecture in India, and Ar. Abhay Purohit, President of the Council of Architecture (COA).
